God's Plan for You

According to the Bible you must have a personal relationship with God.

1. God Loves You
"God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(John3:16). Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly"(John10:10b).
2.  Man Is Sinful, Separated From God
Physical death originated in the sinful fall of Adam and Eve. God told Adam and Eve if they broke His prohibition of eating from the tree of life it would be sin, and as a result they would die. The death would not just be physical but also spiritual. An immediate result of Adams sin was spiritual death. They were expelled from the garden of Eden and removed from God's presence. The terrible consequences of Adam's sin passed onto the world and all his descendants.  "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all have sinned"(Romans 5:12). "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"(Romans 3:23).  "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord" (Romans 6:23)
3. Jesus Christ Is God's Only Provision For Man's Sin
"But God commended His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"(Romans 5:8). "He hath made Him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him"(2 Corinthians 5:21).
4. You Must Receive Jesus Christ As Savior And Lord
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me"(Revelation 3:20).

You may have a personal relationship with God if you genuinely confess your need of a Savior. You may offer a prayer to God similar to the following,  "Dear God, I am sorry for my sins. I turn away from my sins and ask you to forgive me. I believe your Son Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross. Lord Jesus come into my heart and be my Master and Savior. Amen."
