Meet our Pastors

Rev. Carl J. Fischer, Jr.

Senior Pastor Carl J. Fischer, Jr.

Senior Pastor Carl J. Fischer, Jr., son of Carl and Joanne Fischer, was born in 1957 in Bethlehem, PA, and lived in Wilson Borough for most of his youth. At age 14, he believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Carl's call to the Christian ministry began at Pennsylvania State University in the fall of 1975. In 1976 he transferred to Lancaster Bible College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible. After graduating from Lancaster Bible College,

Carl married Julie Long and then attended and graduated from Biblical Theological Seminary, Hatfield, PA. While attending seminary, Carl served four and one half years as the Assistant Pastor of Bethel Memorial Baptist Church in Palmer Township, PA, where he was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in May of 1986. He then served four and a half years as the Assistant and then Associate Pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Nazareth, PA. In January of 1992 Trinity Bible Fellowship Church in Blandon, PA called him to be their Senior Pastor where he served for 15 years. At the end of April 2007 he returned to Nazareth to serve the Lord as the Senior Pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship Church.

Carl and Julie have three sons: Joshua, who in July of 2008 married Christine Procopio, a fine young lady, after he served in the Army National Guard and graduated from Kutztown University in December 2007; Jeremy, a graduate from Lancaster Bible College in December of 2008; and Josiah, a student at Widener University and is the starting catcher for their baseball team.

Assistant Pastor Frank Podlasinski

Assistant Pastor Frank Podlasinski was born in Buffalo, New York. The Podlasinski family, including his wife Terri Ann and their children Elizabeth Ann and Katie Lynn, has lived in Bethlehem since April 1990. He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in March 1982 when he was a graduate student at Clemson University. Pastor Frank has earned a Bachelors of Science degree at Niagara University in Business Management 1980, a Masters of Science degree at Clemson University in Management 1982 as well as a Masters of Divinity degree at Philadelphia Biblical University 2010. He as held a secular career until his call to ministry working as a Purchasing Manager for Chanel for the last fourteen years.

The Podlasinski family worshiped at Calvary Baptist Church in Bethlehem from 1994 until 2010 when Frank and Terri joined Grace Church. During his time at Calvary he served on the Deacon Board, became the leader of the newly created Deacon Ministry, taught all ages of Sunday School, worked in youth ministry, led small groups and led five international missions trips to Germany/Switzerland, Romania, Hungary and the Ukraine. Pastor Frank acknowledged a call to full time Christian ministry in 2004 and completed his M. Div. degree in May 2010. He began the credentialing process of the Bible Fellowship Church in December 2009 and was licensed as a pastor by the BFC after his call to serve at Grace Church in June 2010.

Terri works as a paralegal in Bethlehem. Elizabeth will be graduating from Bloomsburg University with a degree in nursing in December 2010 and Katie is a junior at PBU studying missions.
